Welcome to my family childcare program! We laugh, we love, and we learn together. My name is Karima, and I am a childcare provider, which means:

• I don't wear power suits, make speeches, or drive a fancy sports car
  
• I don't "do lunch", or have a big impressive office,
  
• I spend my days wiping away tears, giving hugs, and serving chicken nuggets.
  
• My "office" is a room full of brightly colored toys and happy laughing children.
  
• Everyday I'm getting the once in a lifetime chance to touch the future.
  
• I'm proud to say "I'm a childcare provider"!

I enjoy working with children and I provide a structured and stimulating environment everyday, but still allow the children to make choices on activities that they would like to do. Our daily activities include a preschool program for ages 3-5 at no cost to parents, daily arts and crafts, cooking activities, story times, indoor play with MEGA toys, lots of books to browse through, sand and water, music and movement, dramatic play, outdoor play with outdoor toys, etc.

 

One of my goals is to help each child in their mental, emotional, social and physical development through a well rounded and age appropriate program time of guided free play, structured class, special guests and field trips. I also feel that that the best assurance for the success of each child's day care or preschool experience is through the close cooperation and understanding between parents and I. I emphasize that daily open communication between the parents and I is essential in providing high-quality childcare.
